Exciting Highlights from the ARMDOCT Project Final Conference Representatives from the Institute of Informatics and Automation Problems of the National Academy of Sciences RA actively participated in the event held on December 1st at the Komitas Museum-Institute in Yerevan. The conference focused on stimulating discussions about the development and sustainability of innovative, interdisciplinary, and cooperative educational programs at the third level of higher education in Armenia. The agenda summarized the outcomes of the Erasmus+ national capacity development project, "Reforming Doctoral Education in Armenia in line with the needs of academia, industry, and current EU practices" (ARMDOCT). Co-financed by the European Union's Erasmus+ program, ARMDOCT showcased impactful institutional and national-level reforms, promoting excellence in research and teaching. The Institute of Informatics and Automation Problems (IIAP) and the French University in Armenia (UFAR) collaborated to establish a Joint Doctoral School in Computer Science. The event concluded with a memorandum of understanding, signed by Armenian universities, research organizations, and the Enterprise Incubator Foundation. This collective commitment reaffirms dedication to developing third-degree programs of higher education in Armenia. |
